It true that it's been a long cold winter here in Upstate New York, but I still did a double-take when I returned to enjoy my coffee by the light of the window and found this couple paddling as though they didn't have a worry in the world. I admit I admired their care-free nature, but I was eager to sip that coffee before it got cold, so I asked them to move on to another location. They didn't seem bothered by my request. I thought of helping them move to the cat's water bowl, but that might not be warm enough for what they have in mind, so I left them to figure it out for themselves.
